Caring for KD01

Desk Tops

Our laminate tops are easy to clean, scratch-resistant and E1 certified meaning that they give off ultra-low emissions (less than 0.1ppm), keeping your air fresh, and the desk forever looking beautiful. To clean, take a soft, damp non-abrasive cloth (micro-fiber or cotton) and wipe the top. For any spills, it's best to wipe them immediately.

Desk Frame

Our desk frame is powder coated for a durable finish that has a great texture and is easy to clean. To clean, take a soft, damp non-abrasive cloth (micro-fiber or cotton) and wipe it down. For any spills, it's best to wipe them immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I get my own top?
A: KD01 supports your own custom top. Tops can be purchased via local carpenters or suppliers. Look for MDF or solid wood tops, or be creative with your materials. Keep in mind that Knead's warranty only covers KD01 understructure and is not responsible for any incompatibilities

Q: Can I change the size of the desk later?
A: KD01 is telescopic, meaning it can change it's width. The 48" width is the lowest it can go, but it can extend beyond 60". Feel free to experiment with this! Keep in mind that Knead's warranty only covers KD01 understructure and is not responsible for any incompatibilities

Q: My desk is wobbly! How do I fix this?
A: KD01 comes with leveling glides at the foot of each leg. There are four in total: turn the glides at the bottom of the feet in or out to match any unevenness that your floor may have

Q: Why do I have to tap the controller multiple times?
A: To prevent unnecessary power drain, the controller will go to sleep. Tap once to wake it up, and tap + hold to adjust the height.
